Francesca Curmi, seeded 64 in the junior world rankings, won her second qualifying match to earn a spot on the main draw of Junior Roland Garros Open, beating world junior no 71 Selin Ovunic 6-1 6-3 from Turkey. Francesca played exceptionally well and dominated her opponent throughout match. On Monday Francesca will be flying the flag for Malta at the same venue as the world’s best junior and senior tennis players.
