Francesca Curmi has done it again! The W25 H Tossa De Mar tournament is the 8th ITF tournament she has competed in this year, and currently, she holds a WTA ranking of 392. She emerged victorious today, beating Georgina Garcia-Perez of Spain, who has a WTA ranking of 509, in a thrilling final with a score of 6-2, 7-6.
Francesca’s road to this title was not an easy one. She faced tough opponents in each round, including Wozuko Mdlulwa (WTA 1096) and Lucie Nguyen Tan (WTA 366). But, she showed her determination and skill on the court to claim the title.
Her dedication to her sport is evident, not just in her impressive performances at this tournament, but also in her preparation for the upcoming GSSE tournament as part of #teamMalta.
