Matthew Asciak has once more won and retained the title of Malta Champion by beating upcoming tennis star Liam Delicata 6-4,6-1. The 14th Anniversary Singles Open Tournament organized by Birkirkara Tennis Club had the final played on Friday 11th September in the afternoon between Matthew Asciak (1) who beat Matthew Cassar Torregiani (2) 6/3 6/1 in a hard fought match.
